Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist | Review

What It Claims:

Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist contains the essence of white fruits and vegetables,
such as radish, cabbage and lemon extract. With a fresh aroma, it will provide you with a fresh feeling. And the packing is compact and easy to carry.

"All these ingredients effectively reduce oil secretion and provide you with moisture, leaving your skin rich in nutrients"
- Sasa.com

What did It do for me?

PRO'S

  1. Gave my makeup a nice finish
  2. Controlled my small amount of oiliness
  3. Convenient
  4. Slightly Moisturizing

CON'S
  1. Wasn't amazing
  2. Not enough product

This product is effective, and It gave a really nice satin finish to my makeup. So I really enjoyed It for setting my makeup, but I did not see the nutrients It claims to infuse your skin with. As for oil control I don't have oily skin, so I don't know how It would work for people with very oily skin.

Does this product deliver on what It claims ?

Yes and No

I think this product does a really great job at setting your makeup and giving it a nice finish, but as for the skin benefits I didn't see any.
I highly recommend this for setting your makeup and taking away the powdery look.

Overall
3.9/5

Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream | Mini First Impressions

Remember this Is purely my first Impressions on Skin79's Snail Nutrition BB Cream

PRO'S
  1. Extremely Moisturizing
  2. Great Coverage (not to heavy, not to light)
  3. Rich and Creamy Texture

CON'S
  1. Feels very oily
  2. Pink undertones

I like this BB Cream a lot, I just don't like It enough to purchase the full size. It feels very oily like sunscreen, and just because I have dry skin does not mean I want my face to feel oily. I really appreciated the medium coverage, because It didn't cake up at all.

After an 8 hour shift at work, It looked ok but defiantly not great.

Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask | Review

What It Claims:
Skinfoods Egg White Pore Mask is a pore-refining cleanser with egg white extract that penetrates deeply into pores to remove pore clogging oil.

  1. Minimizes pores
  2. Removes dirt
  3. Cleanses pores

"Egg White, enriched with albumin, promotes firmer skin and smaller pores"

Does This Product Deliver On It's Claims?

This product does minimize your pores but not enough, It just does not cut it for me. I have huge pores and It made a small difference In minimizing them.

PRO'S
  1. After use skin appears smoother
  2. Pores are slightly minimized
  3. Gentle face mask
  4. Doesn't leave your skin feeling dry
  5. Does cleanse your pore's

CON'S
  1. Pores are not visibly reduced

How Did It work for me?

This mask is nice for an everyday mask that gives you brighter and cleaner skin, It's nice because your skin feels smoother and cleaner, and It just gives you a boost. Some masks leave your skin feeling dry and tight, but this one did not.

On the other hand It disappoints on what It claims to do and what It Is supposed to do! Which Is  minimize your pores! I used this for a week straight and did not see a visable improvement In the size of my pores. So for this reason alone I give It a thumbs down.

Overall 2.9/5

What It Claims

  2. Mint fragrance provides cool and fresh texture
  3. Prevents pores from blockage
  4. Microbid scrubs dead skin cells
  5. Smooth bubbles pacifies skin
  6. Paraben-free, artificial dye-free

"Kaoline and charcoal powder absorbs waste, dead skin cells, and sebum"

How did It work for me?

PRO'S
  1. Pores are less viable
  2. Skin is Smoother
  3. Lathers nicely
  4. Removes Sebum
  5. Breakouts are less noticeable, and going away!

CON'S
  1. Gives that squeaky clean feeling
  2. Drys out skin

Immediate Results I Saw

With the first use my pores looked visibly smaller, and my skin was smoother. At first I didn't like the squeaky clean feeling, but It's helping my skin so I'll deal with It. During the summer time my forehead can become slightly oily, and I noticed that the next day I didn't have to touch up for forehead.

Oil Control

The oil control has been good for me, but I have very little oil so I don't know how you'll fare with very oily skin. But I really do believe this will help you If you have very oily skin.

Continued Use

With continued use I did notice my skin was very dry, but I have just been compensating with with sleeping packs, and masks, so It hasn't been that big of an issue for me.My pores are less noticeable and, my pimples are going away. Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub | Review

What It claims:

Tonymoly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub is a UV control lip essence for aging, thin, and vulnerable lip skin. Use peeling scrub first, the grain containing scrub will make lips soft and peel off excess skin without irritation.

Benefits:

  1. Exfoliates
  2. UV protection
  3. Softens
  4. No Irritation
  5. Moisturizes

"Contains Jojooba and Macadamia oil"

What did It do for me:

PRO'S
  1. Moisturizing
  2. Not to harsh
  3. Convenient

CON'S

  1. Didn't remove dry skin
  2. Not enough grains
  3. Doesn't come with enough product

Why didn't It work for me ?

If I'm going to buy a lip scrub I expect It to exfoliate my lips. This one however can't decide weather It's moisturizer or lip scrub, that really annoys me. Granted I have a lot of dry skin on my lips, and I'm used to using my face scrub on my lips so this could be why It only removed 1/4 of my dry skin. But common a lip scrub should remove dry skin, and this one defiantly missed the mark.

Could It work for you ?

YES It could work for you, If you have a little bit of dry skin, and all you want is for your lips to look refreshed and somewhat moisturized (your lips but better) . But If you need a harsher exfoliate than NO It will not work for you.

Overall
2.9/5

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk BE105 | Review

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-Talks have outstanding colors with a creamy gel type texture that creates clean, and vividly colored lips. This collection offers some of the most natural to dramatic colors for your pout.

This Product Claims to Offer

  1. Vivid Colors
  2. Smooth Gel/Creamy Texture
  3. Moist Shine

"This product has a Moist Shine"

What Did It Do For Me ?

PRO'S
  1. Very moisturizing
  2. Build-able Color
  3. Medium to Opaque Color
  4. Texture is creamy
  5. Not to beige of a color
  6. Overall lovely lipstick

CON'S
  1. Not a gel texture (If that's really a con)
  2. Can show flaky skin on lips

Finals Thoughts:
I am so glad I finally broke down and bought one of these lipsticks, because they are absolutely awesome! I will be purchasing a lot more colors from this line!

BE105 is a beige nude, depending on your lip pigmentation, and undertones It might show up differently on you than it did on me. The texture is creamy and very moisturizing, but you might want to exfoliate your lips before you put this on, as It tends to show the flaky skin on your lips. I also love the pigmentation on these, you can either have a sheer finish or build it up to a very opaque finish. As It sits this is a wonderful nude, but I have too put a shear pink gloss over top, because It can be a little too brown for me. All In all It's right up there with my top nudes, and I would honestly suggest this lipstick to anyone.

Skin79 Rose Mist Toner | Review

Skin 79 Rose Mist Toner claims to

  1. Relax the body and mind with rose aroma
  2. Moisturize dehydrated skin
  3. Liven skin with continual moisture
  4. Plus It's a simple portable toner

"An Aromatic Oasis For Dry Skin"

"The Hydrating Skin Project"

-Skin79 website

What did It do for me?

PRO'S
  1. Love the smell
  2. Gentle on the skin
  3. Can be used over makeup, gives you a dewy glow
  4. Refreshing
  5. Hydrating/Moisturizing

CON'S
  1. No serious cons

Skin79 really delivered on this product, I really believe It achieves everything It claims, expect the whole calming the mind and spirit thing. Every time I use my skins look more awake (if that's possible) I don't look so tired Is what I'm trying to get at.

Immediate Results I saw
After I washed my face I used my regular toner, then I moisturized, and then I sprayed this over my face. When I woke up in the morning my skin didn't look so dull or tired! So this was on the first night I used the mist, and I've continued using it this way.

Results after a week of use
I'll say this right now I haven't seen a stupendous/mind boggling improvement In my skin, but I have seen enough of an improvement to repurchase, and I think that's proof enough that a products works. My skin just looks healthier overall!

Final Thoughts
I also absolutely love putting this over my makeup, as I said it gives me a dewy glow while setting my makeup into place (and no It doesn't slide around my face). And the smell could be an issue for some people, but for me It wasn't a big deal.
I would honestly recommend this to anyone (my mom even loves It).

Overall
4.5/5

Missha The Style 3D Mascara | Review

I prefer super long and voluminous lashes (basically spider lashes) So how does this mascara hold up to my very high expectations ?

I purchased both Missha The Style 4D & 3D mascara, and they have the same packaging, and brush, I just thought It would be repetitive If I reviewed both.

PRO'S
  1. Sleek packaging

CON'S
  1. Doesn't add volume
  2. Doesn't add length
  3. Doesn't Separate
  4. Clumps terribly
  5. Doesn't hold curl
  6. Waxy formula

I mainly use western mascara's because there easier for me to get a hold of, and I just prefer them overall. Anyways I feel like this Is going to be a big bash marthon, so Im going to skip paragraph. You've read the cons and you know how i feel about the mascara. Need I say more?

Lioele Pore Clean & Tightening Pack | Review

Lioele Pore Clean & Tightening Pack cleanses and tightens large pores caused by blackheads and excess sebum secretion. Witch hazel and grapefruit shell extract to help generate a smooth care for dead skin cells.

What Is It supposed to do ?

Pore Contraction
Deep Cleansing
Sebum Control
Increase Elasticity
Prevention of Acne

What did It do for me ?

PRO'S

  1. Pores were less visible
  2. Skin appeared smoother
  3. Improved the look of my skin overall

CON'S

  1. Will explain cons below
  2. Odd smell

I'm on the fence about this product. It does work, but It doesn't work as well as I want It to. Yes It reduced the size of my pores and smoothed out my skin, but what I really wanted was for my pores to disappear all together, and that didn't happen. Maybe my expectations were to high? You tell me, all I know is that the product delivered but not enough for me to repurchase. But something else it did was control my oily T-zone very nicely, granted I'm not that oily but I did notice a difference. So maybe If that's something you struggle with you should check this out. Let me know if you've tried this product and what your thoughts were!

My Top 2 MAC Creamsheens | Japanese Maple & Pink Pearl Pop

Japanese Maple is a beige/nude lipstick with a slight coral undertone

Pink Pearl Pop is a mid-tonal pink with a very sheer blue undertone

Today I thought I would do something a bit different and share my favorite "high end"  lipsticks (I'm a drugstore girl at heart)

I wear both of these lipsticks a lot, I love the fact that there creamsheens because I have very dry lips, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Japanese maple is the best nude I have come across, because it's not to brown or to pink or to coralily,It's just perfect! In the picture It may come across as frosty but NO It's not frosty, It has a very light shimmer. I love the fact that it's sheer and just looks like my lips but better!
Pink pearl pop Is a beautiful sheer pink, that can be build up to opaque coverage. It has a slight blue undertone, with a very light shimmer. I love wearing this on those days wear I want to be noticed (If that makes sense). I just brightens up your whole makeup look!

Well I hope you enjoyed this! Let me know If you like these kind of posts, because It's fun to do something different !

Glow By Jennifer Lopez | Perfume Review

Glow is the first fragrance by Jennifer Lopez. The fragrance was meant to target women in their late teens and early 20s and it became very popular breaking numerous records in sales which inspired other celebrities to launch their own signature fragrances.
Jennifer describes Glow as ‘a skin-scent’ and ‘clean’, even soapy with a sweet, powdery trail.

Notes:
Neroli, pink grapefruit, rose, sandalwood, amber, musk, jasmine, iris and vanilla.

Sillage
7.1/5

The sillage of this perfume starts out very strong, but then it gently settles into skin.

Longevity
7.999/10

The only reason I purchased this perfume was because my mom had worn it when I was younger, so basically I made a sentimental purchase (the most dangerous kind). When I first wore I wasn't totally in love, but I did enjoy how it made me smell like I just got out of the shower. It starts off very floral, then changes to "Just Showed" smell, and then
mellows into the pink grapefruit and roses.
I  have a real challenge with perfumes longevity, my skin just doesn't hold a scent for long so this is one of the few perfumes that really lasts on me. I would recommend it to all age groups!

Skinfood Blanc Pearl Caviar Serum | Review

Hello everyone ! As you know I've been trying to put a lot of things together for my blog, and it hasn't been easy, so that's why I haven't been updating a lot. But now I'm starting to get back into my grove, so expect a lot of different things to be coming out.

Skinfoods Blanc Pearl Caviar Serum is a total care care serum, which fights the look of wrinkles. It provides nutrients, resilience, and moisture to the skin. A notable fact is that it has Russian caviar extracts, and gold ingredients.

PRO'S

  • Does it's job

CON'S

  • Didn't "rock my world" so to say

This product it tailored for people 40 years and older, I did have my mom try it out (she really liked it) I also thought it was very moisturizing and got the job done nicely. But I will say for the price I really expect something to wow me, and it just didn't do it for me. This product ranges from $40.00-50.00 CAD , and that's expensive in my books.I just feel I could achieve the same results from a more budget friendly item. On the other hand If you are 40 and over this could do wonders for your skin that it wouldn't necessarily do for my skin. Like I said Its a good serum, just not suited for me !

You can purchase this product for 44.90
Skinfood Blanc Pearl Caviar Serum 60ml

Elizabeth Taylor Sparkling White Diamonds | Perfume Review

Elizabeth Taylor's Sparkling White Diamonds was launched in 1999, and is definatley one of her younger scents.

Top notes are lily, gardenia and neroli; middle notes are jasmine, rose and narcissus; base notes are amber, woodsy notes and musk.

Longevity
6.7/10

Sillage
8.1/10

You have to be a certain type of person to like this scent, it's very heavy. To describe it in three words it is heavy, floral, and musky, but once it settles into the skin , it turns into a very clean floral scent. I'm just one of those persons who really enjoys heavier scents, and well anything Elizabeth Taylor related.

Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner #2 Brown

I have a love hate relationship with the Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner in #2 Brown, keep reading if you want to find out why!

PRO’S
  •    Comes with brush
  •    Lot of colors to choose from
  •    Great price
  •    Long lasting
  •    True to color
  •    Waterproof

CON'S
  •    Smudges after prolonged wear

As you have just read there are many benefits to this gel liner, but there’s also a rather large con that annoys the crap out of me… Its smudges (yes I do prime my lids before)! This is one of the deal breakers for me, whenever I wear this I have to be careful not to rub or touch anything around my eyes. Whenever I do it smudges and looks extremely unattractive, but if you’re not someone who has the nasty habit of touching your face then don’t worry. Alright minus the smudging factor it’s a great gel eyeliner, that I would recommend to most.  I conducted a test the other day, and it is water proof which surprised me, and it does last all day (as long as you don’t smudge it). All in all it a pretty good gel liner for the price.

Overall
3.9/5
