Elizabeth Taylor Sparkling White Diamonds | Perfume Review

Elizabeth Taylor's Sparkling White Diamonds was launched in 1999, and is definatley one of her younger scents.

Top notes are lily, gardenia and neroli; middle notes are jasmine, rose and narcissus; base notes are amber, woodsy notes and musk.

Longevity
6.7/10

Sillage
8.1/10

You have to be a certain type of person to like this scent, it's very heavy. To describe it in three words it is heavy, floral, and musky, but once it settles into the skin , it turns into a very clean floral scent. I'm just one of those persons who really enjoys heavier scents, and well anything Elizabeth Taylor related.

Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner #2 Brown

I have a love hate relationship with the Tony Moly Backstage Gel Liner in #2 Brown, keep reading if you want to find out why!

PRO’S
  •    Comes with brush
  •    Lot of colors to choose from
  •    Great price
  •    Long lasting
  •    True to color
  •    Waterproof

CON'S
  •    Smudges after prolonged wear

As you have just read there are many benefits to this gel liner, but there’s also a rather large con that annoys the crap out of me… Its smudges (yes I do prime my lids before)! This is one of the deal breakers for me, whenever I wear this I have to be careful not to rub or touch anything around my eyes. Whenever I do it smudges and looks extremely unattractive, but if you’re not someone who has the nasty habit of touching your face then don’t worry. Alright minus the smudging factor it’s a great gel eyeliner, that I would recommend to most.  I conducted a test the other day, and it is water proof which surprised me, and it does last all day (as long as you don’t smudge it). All in all it a pretty good gel liner for the price.

Holika Holika Face 2 Change Moist Cushion BB | Review

I am often impressed with Holika Holika products so how does the Face 2 Change Moist Cushion BB match up to my expectations, keep reading to find out !

PRO'S

  • SPF50+ PA+++
  • Interesting format

CON'S

  • Smells like sunscreen
  • Oily
  • Don't like overall
  • Expensive

So I am absolutely disappointed in this product ! It smells like I'm putting sun screen all over my face, I'm not one to complain but the smell Is really bad ! And don't even get me started on how oily this made me, I have very dry skin and that usually Isn't a problem for me but It just seemed to melt off my face ! So if you have oily skin It's not going to work, just stay far away from It ! I know cushions are all the rave right now but I think there are better cushion BB creams out there. That's just my 2 cents though !

Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Starter | Review

Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Starter Is a cousin to It's every so famous counterpart the Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream, here are my thoughts on how It matches up !

PRO'S

  • Light Weight
  • Surprisingly minimizes pores
  • Moisturizing
  • Gives a "glow"

CON'S

  • No Serious Con's

NOTABLE CLAIMS

  • Containing 80% mint water
  • It contains a large amount of mint water that was made by mixing vitamin-rich mint with cold glacial water

I really didn't have high hopes for this, I was never a big fan of the Jelly BB Cream, and I didn't expect this to be any better. Well I was wrong.
This made my makeup look so flawless/glowing , and I thought that this type of formula would give me an unnatural shine/grease but It didn't! Plus a major bonus was that It truly minimized my pores. Holika Holika you never seem to disappoint me !

Bonne Bell Liplites | Strawberry Parfait

I'm sure we've all heard of Bonne Bell Liplites in Strawberry Parfait, the ever so popular dupe for Nars Turkish Delight, well here's my round up on how this product compares to it's expensive counterpart.

PRO'S
  • Moisturizing
  • Lovely light pink
  •  Not Sticky
  • Amazing Price

CON'S
  • Not as pigmented as Nars TD
  • Doesn't last very long
  • Smells like play dough

Yes this is extremely close dupe for Nars TD, but I really don't like how poor quality the formula Is. Literally I will get 20 mins of wear time ! I think this gloss would work better If you layer it on top of a lipstick, so please keep the wear time in mind. The color is just so muted, so It's really an overall lovely pink, and the price tag is amazing!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder | Review

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder has been widely raved about in the beauty community, so here are my thoughts and opinions on It !

PRO'S
  • Gives nice coverage
  • Keeps you shine free for most of the day
  • Great Price

CON'S
  • Can cake up

As you can see I have thoroughly enjoyed this product, and I plan on repurchasing this again. When I first started wearing makeup I never used powder because I had very dry skin, but once I got older I started getting oily In my T-Zone. So this was the first powder I ever used, and It's stuck with me all this time. So I can't help but give It a sentimental review, Don't Judge!

I love the coverage this powder gives, while still looking somewhat natural, but you have to be careful not to re-apply during the day because IT WILL build up and you will look cakey, this is not a touch up powder. This great for all skin types because even though my skin is dry at times It wont accentuate the dry patches, and It works wonders on my oily T-Zone. This is an awesome powder that i recommend to anyone !
