The Face Shop Baby Leaf Green Tea Waterfull Serum - Review

Hey everyone it's so great to be back it has been 4 years since I have posted any thing on this blog and I thought I would address that before we get into the review. I have so missed having this outlet and not even realized it, I have such a passion for Korean skincare and cosmetics. It makes me so so sad that I abandoned this blog, but I'm back now married and with a baby ! I hope you enjoy everything I plan on putting out, I'm thinking I will try to put out at least 2 posts a week, I'm not sure of exact days or times but I will defiantly update you. Now let's get into the review ! 

Claims: The Baby Leaf Green Tea Serum will soften your skin, leaving it radiant! Its light formula, enriched with green tea leaf extract, is quickly absorbed and won't leave sticky residue. Ideal for combination to oily skin.

Ok let me start by saying I have really dry skin, so I really should have checked if this product would have been suited to my skin type. Well its not. The face shop green tea line is really suited to oily skin types. So that is really my fault, but I still feel like I will be able to give it a fair review based on my experience and some other reviews I have read. 

What I have been noticing is that people with oily skin really enjoy this serum as it is light weight and moisturizing, without being oily. On other hand my experience and others with the same skin type as me have noticed that it works nicely and is moisturizing, it has a lovely fresh smell, and makes your skin feel very refreshed. But once used for a few days it made my skin really rough and bumpy (other have noticed it breaks them out as well) I think the reason i reacted badly to this product is because of my skin type. 

Pros

• Lightweight 
• Great for oily skin types 
• Refreshing smell 
• Moisturizing
• Great price

Cons

• Not suited for dry skin types 
• Made skin rough and bumpy 

 

My final thoughts on this product are to give it a try if you have oily to combination skin, and if you have dry combination skin or dry skin I would skip it or try and grab a sample to test it out for yourself !

The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex You and Face Blusher #10 Sandy Brown | Review

The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex You and Face Blusher have many different uses such as Highlighters, Blushes, and Bronzers. I purchased #10 so I'll be reviewing this as a bronzer 

Claims 

1. Clear colors deliver vitality to face
2. Moisturizing and shimmering highlighter create cubic effect on your face.
3. Creates a small face with shading.  

How did It work for me ?

I liked that this bronzer was

1. Compact 
2. Had a nice color 
3. Not to Orange , not to Brown
4. Blended easily 

I didn't like that 

1. It's Powdery 
2. Pigmentation is not great 

This line is priced very well, and I'm intrigued to try the highlighters and some of the blushes. 

Although there are some great pro's to this bronzer, It just didn't have the lasting power I wanted and I think there are a lot better bronzers out there. So even though I want to try out more colors I think my money will be better spent elsewhere.

So I recently bought a couple of blushes from The Face Shop, and I've really been enjoying them. This one however has been an interesting experience, I was getting ready for work and decided to try this for the first time. So I'm blushing away and thinking wow this is such a pretty pink, I then take a closer look and was like OMG a fairy just spit on my face ! This is very "Glowy" , I find i like this more as highlight not on the tops of your check bones but over a darker blush or over a matte bronzer, It looks very nice then! Just use a slight hand , I've read a couple of reviews saying this doesn't have a lot of pigment which i don't find to be a problem. Other than the fairy thing this is a very pretty "blusher" and I recommend to anyone who is under 30 (Just Kidding)

Review = The Face Shop Freshian Big Mascara

Description:

PRO'S 

• Gives voluminous lashes   
• Wet Formula 
• Doesn't dry out 
• Flexible , but holds curl in lashes 
• Lasts all day
• Doesn't flake 

CON'S 

• None at all 

Needless to say i thought Americans had mascara down pat , well this product has convinced me other wise . I love how this formula applies wet but when you let it dry it doesn't make your lashes brittle or stiff, there are still extremely supple and flexible. One of the other things i observed was that the mascara didn't fade , or loose its "just applied look" , it lasted all day without flaking ! If you have the chance you absolutely must pick this up !

This is one of my holy grail skin care products , i've been using this for awhile now and i just love how gentle it is on my skin.

Number 2 = The Face Shop Friesian Big Mascara

I love the formula for this mascara , it holds your lashes curl all day , It's also a budget find ! 

Number 3 = Skinfoods Egg White Pore Mask

This has helped reduce my pores so much , a definite win !

Number 4 = Holika Holika Bulgarian Rose Pearly Blossom Cream

This has quickly become one of my favorite moisturizers , and the scent is amazing !

Final Thoughts:

So to be truthful im really not a big fan of this product , i can't even explain the pain i went through to get it off my face. It feels like a mixture of Mud and Glue !! Although it did make my skin really smooth , is it worth the pain ? No it certainly is not !! I really don't recommend this product if you have sensitive skin. But on the bright side it did make the pores around my nose area less noticeable.
